You have two possibilities to go to the view Edit issue:
•Click Create new issue in the main menu two create a new issue. It is opened for editing in the view Edit issue. •In List view you can click the edit issue icon •Also in List view you can click the create sub issue icon
Description In this view you can create a new issue or edit an existing issue.
Objects to work on If you click the edit issue icon of an issue in the List view
create new issue If you are already in Edit issue view, you simply click the button create new issue to create a sub issue.
Create new sub issue If you click the edit issue icon of an issue in the List view, the issue will be opened in Edit issue view. If you click "New Issue" in the main menu, a new issue with ID 0 will be displayed in Edit issue view. If you want to edit another issue, choose it from the mask selection on the left.
Create new issue based on current In Edit issue view, you can create an issue which default state fields are initial copied from the current edited issue. Hook the checkbox create new based on current and click the button create new issue to create this type of issue. Attachments and autofilled fields will not be copied.
Data input
•To enter data go to index card Writable fields. All fields you can edit in the current status are listed here. •In Index card All fields displays all fields you have, in the current status, write and read permissions for. You can not enter data within this index card.
Note Access permissions for the fields can be edited by Managers and Project Administrators in the view Workflow permissions.
Operations After you have entered all data, you can process the issue using following operations:
•save Click the button save to save the new issue or all changes made to an existing issue. •save Click the button save and close to save the new issue or all changes made to an existing issue and close the dialog. •delete If you have permission to delete the issue, click the button delete to delete the currently selected issue. •higher ranked issue In order to subordinate an issue under onother choose a higher ranked issue from the selection list. Only user who have the permission to set hierarchy will see this selection list. Note: The hierarchy has particularly effect on the visibility of issues. So sub issues are handled like there higher ranked issues regarding the visibility. I.e. sub issues of issues, that are invisible for the user because of the invisibility settings, the access filter, the user groups settings or the status visibility settings, are also invisible for the user. •status change Select a new status from the selection list to change the status of the issue. Note: The list of possible status changes can be restricted, see also view Workflow •Send email when saved Check the checkbox Send email when saved to send the edited issue via email to a project member. After saving, the window window Send email message will open where you can determine the receipients.
Chat If you click the button "Start a new chat", a window will pop up containing the Chat. |
