Description

This view lets you fill an issue with data. The index card Writable fields displays all fields you can fill out.

Notes:

Fields marked with a exclamation mark are required fields. I.e. they have to be filled out in order to save the issue. Only exception: The field contains a history that is not empty. Which fields are required depends on the selected target status below.

The icon indicates that the field has a history. You can click the icon to view the history in a new window. The icon indicates that the field has a history, but there is no entry.

If the field is marked with a icon, you can click it to view a help text that was defined by the Project Administrator during the Table structur definition.

Visibility

Below the input fields you have the option to set the issue visible for all users or visible only for privileged users if you have the permission to set visibility. Privileged users are users who obtained the permission to read invisible in the project permissions.

Link list field

If the project table structure contains a column of the type "reference list", you can fill this field with references to other entries (also to entries from other projects). To add an entry, select the ID from the selection list. The reference will immediately be registered in the list. In order to view contents of the linked entry in a new window (issue quick view), double-click it. As many as desired links can be created. Also after copying/moving the entry or the linked entries into another project the link continues functioning. These links are also displayed in List view. In order to refer to entries from other projects, click the button "from other projects".

Paste contents of emails

If the user is allowed to access an Email accountin the current project, the email account icon will be displayed. Click it to open the email list. Contents of emails can be comfortably transferred by Drag&Drop to the fields of the entry. Attachments are treated separately: If the message contains attachments, these must be assigned to columns of the type "attachment". The attachments will be copied into the entry when saving the entry.
