Define the fields of an issue

 

Description

In this view you define the fields that describe the specifics of an issue.

In the issues are listed in a Table: Each row shows an issue, each column shows a field of the issues. These columns of the table are defined in the view Table structure. You can define the name, the color and the position of each field and determine how many fields exist.

 

Objects to work on

Columns of a project. Choose the project you want to edit from the general selection list.

 

Choose column

Choose the column you want to edit from the mask selection or add a new column.

If you have not created any columns yet, the mask selection displays no entries.

 

Add new column

Click the button "Add new column" underneath the column selection list to add a new column.

 

Delete a column

Choose the column you want to delete from the mask selection and click the button "delete" in the operation area.

 

Index card General

Within the index card General you define the most important attributes, the caption, data type and position of a column and determine if the column is required to be filled out, if a history is recorded and to which status the column belongs.

 

Index card Help

In the index card Help you can add a help text for the column.

 

 

Preview

Click the button "preview" to open a new window that displays a preview of the table containing the currently defined columns.
