General idea of structure and user interface of
The user interface is composed of a main menu that is located at the upper end of the browser window and a view area that aligns itself at the index card conception. The list view presents itself as a bit different in structure, since it contains a different conception.
Main menu The main menu is always available at the upper end of the browser window. It contains following items:
This link leads to the view project selection, where you can choose the project you want to work on.
This link opens the view Edit issue that lets you create new issues or edit/delete existing issues.
This link opens the list view, where all issues which are visible for the user, are listed in a table. This view is the central view of Its structure differs a bit from the general index card conception and is, therefore, explained separately below.
This item contains links to the views Edit project and Edit user, where you can edit the settings of projects and users.
This link opens the view User Settings, where you can change your password and change some settings.
By clicking this link, you can log out of the system.
View area The different views of The conception of the index cards is as follows:
Note: The mask selection is not available in all views.
The Navigation bar indicates within which view you are.
Die General selection shows you, which project and objects you are working on. Furthermore, you can click the Help button to open the online help in a new browser window that refers to the current view.
The Mask selection lets you choose an object to work on. Within the view Edit issue, for instance, you choose an issue; within the view Project settings, you choose a project.
Within the Index card area data is entered and displayed. This is the actual operation area. If more than one index card is displayed, you can change between them. Within the Operation area you can carry out actions like status changes, saving or deleting. You work on columns of a status that you can choose from the Mask selection on the left.
List view The List view is designed unlike the other views:
Menu bar The Menu bar offers access to the various functions of The Menu bar is moveable. When the view is opened, it is fixed to the beginning of the table. By clicking the pin icon, the menu bar floats freely and can, by a left-click, be positioned anywhere within the table. To reposition the menu bar above the table, click the Pin-Symbol again.
Table The table displays all issues that are visible for the user. The icons bear following meanings:
