can fetch emails from external email servers. In the standard license the Emails are displayed and project members can manually copy the content into issues. Optional it is possible to generate automatically issues from the content of the emails. The basis for both cases are defined and to the project assigned mailboxes.

You can set up unlimited mail account connections to external email servers and assign them to projects as destination addresses.

For the case of manual editing you can define the access to the received messages for each single project member. The display of received messages allows you to comfortably insert contents of emails (also file attachments) into the issues of a project by Drag&Drop.

In this view you can create and edit email account connections by using the following fields:

Select an existing mail account in order to edit the connecting data or to assign it to a project.

Name the email account here, e.g. the destination address like "email@domainname.net". This address embeds the mail account in the system, the name is necessary!

Fill in the connecting parameters of the mail server. The server address, the connecting protocol (e.g. pop3, imap) and the port are required. Depending on the used mailserver the character string can vary. Examples:

save	Saves the data to the mailbox and accomplishes a connecting test.
Test	Tests the connection to the mailbox with the chosen connecting parameters.
Assing to the project	Assigns the selected account to the current project.
Remove from project	Removes the allocation of the account to the project.
new	Generates a new email account. After you selected "new" you can define the address and the connection data. Select "actions->save" to save these settings.
delete	Deletes the selected email account from the system.
