Assign import columns

 

Description

After the import file has been uploaded on the server and analysed, the system needs more information to correctly paste the data into the project.

 

The table on this index card consists of tree columns:

 

CSV/XML column

This column contains the first row of the CSV file or the name attribute of the fields in the XML file.

The system tries to generate the automated assignment on the basis of this data.

 

CSV/XML values

This column displays the first three data records of the CSV or XML file.

 

Project column

These selection lists contain the columns of the target project.

Assign the import columns to the correct project columns.

 

Note "ID reference"

This note referes to the index card "Column 1 - x".

If you want existing issues of the project to be replaced with issues from the import file that have the same IDs, go to the index card "Column 1 - x" and assign the project column "ID ref" to the CSV column "ID".

 

To import the loaded file to the project, click the button "Import".
