Description
Selection of the import file First you have to choose the file that contains data you want to import to the project. The CSV or XML file has to be on the local computer and end with the file extensions XML, CSV or TXT.
Structure of the XML File You will find the description of the XML file in the following XSD file http://www.woodpecker-it.com/xmlns/wpit-export-5.4.xsd.
Column assignment in CSV files The first row of the CSV file may contain column captions. This is the case if the file was e.g. generated by the
Click the button "analyze file" to start the upload.
After the file has been uploaded and analysed, the index card General and one or more index cards with the caption "Column 1 - x" appear.
Note: Depending on the file size the upload can take a few minutes.
If the status is not imported or the imported status is not defined in the target project, you choose a status from the selection list the imported data records will obtain.
This index card displays the analysis of the loaded file and you can edit the status of the imported issues.
This (these) index card(s) let you assign the single columns of the imported file to the columns of the target project.
