Create, edit, delete, assign and unassign templates for automatic emails

 

Select template

Select an existing template.

 

Template name

Assign a name to the template.

 

E-mail subject (optional: replaces default subject definition)

To replace the default email subject ("woodpecker-it Alerting Filter", alerting filter name, project name, number of issues) with another, enter it here (using of markers is possible, see below).

 

E-mail content

Insert the email content here (using of markers is possible, see below).

 

Paste marker

Choose the markers that will be replaced with the current values when the email is sent.

The list of markers contains the following fix makers:

#ALERTING_COUNT_ISSUES#: Amount of affected issues

#ALERTING_DATE#: Date of triggering

#ALERTING_FILTERNAME#: Name of the alerting filter

#ALERTING_LINKLIST#: List of affected issues (Issue-Links, see below)

#ALERTING_PROJECT#: Project name

#ALERTING_RECEIVER#: #ALERTING_RECEIVERFULLNAME# + #ALERTING_RECEIVERMAIL#

#ALERTING_RECEIVERFULLNAME#: Receiver (login name, user type, user ID, user name)

#ALERTING_RECEIVERMAIL#: Receiver email address

#ALERTING_SENDER#: Sender (login name, user type, user ID, user name) + #ALERTING_SENDERMAIL#; or: Server

#ALERTING_SENDERMAIL#: Sender email address

#ALERTING_TIME#: Time of triggering

 

New template

Create a new template.

 

Delete template

Delete an existing template.

 

Save

Save the current template.

 

Assign

Assign the template to the alerting filter

 

Unassign

Unassign the template.

 

Close

Close the dialog.

 

Note

You can not edit templates that where created from other Administrators or Managers.

 

Issue links

Each email contains so-called issue links. The issue link consists of the URL to the project and a further encoded information. By clicking this issue link, the receiver can directly open the issue in Edit view provided that he/she is authorized to do so.
