(A) (M) ( Main menu - Settings - Edit Project - Project permissions - Access filter ) Edit access filters for users
Description The view Access filter lets you create a preliminary filter for each project member. The access filter works like the regular filter that is available to each user. Issues are filtered according to certain criteria and only issues that meet those are displayed in the list. The difference is that the Access filter can not be set by the user but by the project Administrator. By using the Access filter, the project Administrator can preliminary decide which issues the user can read and edit. Issues that are excluded by the Access filter will never be visible for the user. This view is accessible for Managers and Administrators only.
Example You can use an Access filter to determine that the programmer Peter can only read and edit issues that are in the status "in process" and of the category "error".
Objects to work on Access filters for users. Choose the project from the general selection and the user from the mask selection.
Create filter The Access filter is created in exactly the same way as the regular filter that is available for Standard-users. It is also possible to copy or re-create an existing filter. You can choose between a simple and an advanced filter generation:
The simple filter lets you specify for each column what the filter will display in the list. The single specifications will be automatically AND related in the text field above.
The advanced filter lets you enter SQL-like statements directly into a text field. This allows very complex queries. |
