Copy or move issues to other projects

Description

To copy or move issues from the one project to another, select the issues in List view and click the button Copy or move selection.

The view Copy / move issues to another project opens. Choose the target project from the mask selection.

After that you have to edit following settings in the index cards:

Index card General

The index card General lets you activate ID reference.

Index card Column assignment

The index card Column assignment lets you assign the columns of the issues you want to copy to the columns of the target project.

Index card Status assignment

The index card Status assignment lets you assign the statuses of the issues you want to copy to the statuses of the target project.

Finally you have to decide if you want to copy or move the issues to the other project.

Either click the button copy issues or move issues.

Copy issues

To copy issues means that the issues will be available in both projects: Source and target project.

Move issues

If you move issues, they will be deleted from the source project and only be available in the target project. Therefore you'll need permission to delete issues in the source project if you want to move issues.

Note: If a higher ranked issue will be moved and its sub issues will rest in the source project, the sub issues will be moved in the highest hierarchical level.
