Individual adjustment of the list view by alerting filters

 

Description

Alerting filters are checked by system daily in the background and send notification emails if issues are found. Through this the progress of the issues can be checked efficiently and tips to not worked on issues be stumbled.

 

Private / global alerting filter

Administrators can declare the filter global or private. Users can only create private filters.

Private filter

A private filter will always inform the creator of the filter.

Global filter

By a global filter the administrator can determine whether a certain user is informed, or whether a user selected in a column of the issue is informed. (e.g., the creator or developer of the issue)

 

Objects to work on

Choose the filterset from the mask selection and enter a filter caption.

Create a alerting filters set

You can choose from a simple and an advanced filter generation:

 

Index card Simple filter

The simple filter lets you specify for each column what the filter will display in the list. The single specifications will be automatically AND related in the text field above.

 

Index card Advanced filter

The advanced filter lets you enter SQL-like statements directly into a text field. This allows very complex queries.

 

Index card User notification

In the index card user notification you can define when the filter should run the first time, how often it should run and how many notifications you want to get.

Project admin can select the users which should be notified.

 

Index card Auto-Export and Templates

The extended configuration of alerting filters allows you to add an e-mail template. Further you may optionally attach all affected issues as XML or CSV export to the alerting e-mail.

 

Delete filter set

Choose a selection filters set from the mask selection and click the button Delete filter to delete it.
